Upcoming Updates

In October: a block library for reusing finished blocks across multiple sites, and WooCommerce support.
Upcoming Updates
  1. Version 1.4.0 — latest

    29.09.2026

OAuth for ChatGPT, Claude and Codex, custom fields for posts, pages and your own post types, and site-wide settings, filled in by hand or by your AI agent.

Connect ChatGPT, Claude and Codex with OAuth

    • OAuth for ChatGPT, Claude and Codex: pick your client in Fabrement → MCP Connection, sign in to WordPress as an administrator and approve the request. No password or key to copy.
    • Two ways for Claude and Codex: a Recommended tab (OAuth) and an Advanced tab with application passwords, commands and config entries.
    • Connection access: every OAuth connection and application password in one list, each with a Disconnect button.
    • Tokens stay on your site: they renew themselves in the background and never reach the Fabrement service.

    Custom fields

    • Fields for your content — posts, pages and your own post types; the agent designs them, and you fill them in the Fabrement fields box, saved with the post’s Update button.
    • Field types — text, textarea, formatted text, number, true/false, select, date and date-time, image, gallery, file, link, icon, record picker, group and repeater.
    • Site General Settings — site-wide settings such as phone, address and social links, on their own admin pages.
    • Fields in blocks and templates — they read field values directly, and a block shows which site options it uses.
    • Fields in SEO — structured data and Yoast titles can use field values and site options.

    Multilingual sites (WPML)

    • Translation rule per field — translated, copied from the original, copied once, or filled per language.
    • WPML’s “+” link — a new translation starts with its original’s values.
    • Settings per language — Site General Settings have a version for each language.

    SEO

    • Yoast integration — an SEO overview of every page, and archives presented as Yoast’s posts page.

    Site management from the chat

    • Nested pages — set a parent and an order.
    • One preview — for pages, templates and blocks, including a block shown on a real record.
    • Media across languages — one row per image.

    Setup and security

    • Claude in one click — the connector opens with your site already filled in.
    • File-editing lock — respects DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT and DISALLOW_FILE_MODS.
    • No telemetry — nothing is sent on activation or deactivation.
  2. Version 1.3.0

    29.09.2026

Connect Fabrement to Cursor and GPT/Codex, a site icon library, and a design system that works without an account.

    More AI agents

    • GPT/Codex and Cursor — connect them from MCP Connection, not only Claude.
    • Site sign-in for agents — a connection stays until you revoke it.

    Design system

    • Works without an account — edit and save your design right on the site.
    • Fonts on your own site — Google fonts can be hosted on your site, so visitors don’t fetch them from Google.
    • More typography — display and accent fonts, extra weights, and buttons in your colour roles.

    Blocks and content

    • Site icon library — upload once and pick icons from thumbnails in any block.
    • Form field — pick the block’s form from your site’s forms.
    • Global header and footer — shared by every template.
    • 404 page — its own page and template.
    • Archive pages — with their own editable content.
    • Blocks from your project — see which ones exist and install the missing ones.

    Site management from the chat

    • Page status — publish, unpublish, trash and restore pages.
    • Block-by-block edits — change part of a page without rewriting it.
    • Draft previews — preview links at the page’s real address.
    • Large Figma frames — read section by section.
  3. Version 1.2.0

    14.09.2026

Multilingual sites with WPML, new block fields and safer management from the chat.

    Multilingual sites (WPML)

    • Translatable blocks — block text appears in the WPML translation editor.
    • Page translation — create a page’s version in another language in one request.
    • Translated templates — header and footer in the visitor’s language.
    • Language switcher — for any header or block, with correct links.
    • Post types and categories per language — own names and URLs in each language.
    • Archives per language — title and SEO for each language.
    • SEO per language — Yoast defaults for each language.

    New block fields

    • Formatted text — headings, lists, links and images in one field.
    • Heading level — choose H1–H6 for any title.
    • Drag to reorder — rows in cards, slides and FAQ lists.

    Site management from the chat

    • Safe deleting — blocks, templates and terms still in use are not deleted.
    • Where a block is used — list every page and template that shows it.
    • Templates — assign or remove pages one at a time.
    • Custom URLs — set the address of new and existing pages and posts.
  4. MCP is here. Connect Claude to your site and it works on WordPress directly — reading the design system and the blocks you already have before it builds anything.

Fabrement used to live inside the editor: you asked for a section, you got a section. Now the site connects to Claude as a full project — over 70 operations available straight from the chat. The AI first looks at what the site already has, then builds on it instead of duplicating work.

    • “Create a ‘Projects’ post type with client, year and gallery fields” — your own content types (books, events, products, services) together with the categories that classify them: genres, regions, collections.
    • “Make an About page and set it as the homepage” — create, publish, edit and delete pages and records. Without opening the admin.
    • “Here is the Figma — build this page” — the page is broken into sections and assembled on the site. Blocks that already exist are reused, not recreated.
    • “Our colours are these, the font is Inter” — the design system is described once, and every new section is painted with it automatically. Plus a separate site-wide stylesheet layer.
    • “Set up SEO for the catalogue” — titles, descriptions and social previews, for a single page or a whole post type. Rich results in Google: FAQ, products, events, local business. Yoast installs itself if it is not there yet.
    • “Add a contact form and a menu item” — navigation, image uploads and Contact Form 7 forms, including the thank-you and error messages.

To connect: WP Admin → Fabrement → Settings → Agent access (MCP) → Generate connection command.

  5. Version 1.1.2

    20.08.2026

New block fields — what used to require editing code.

    • Record picker — the editor picks existing records from a list, one or several, in the order you want. The block pulls their current titles, images and links itself: rename a record and the block shows the new title, delete it and the card disappears. This is how “Featured projects” or “Related articles” get built, with no duplicated content.
  6. Version 1.1.1

    22.07.2026

Site templates — one frame for every page.

Set the header and footer once, and every page steps into that frame. Change the phone number in the footer and it changes everywhere, instead of on twenty pages one by one.

    • The full arrangement, not just header and footer — a template holds every block around the content, including the ones above and below it: breadcrumbs, a banner, a “Book a consultation” section at the end of every page.
    • Different templates for different areas — one for pages, another for the blog, a third for the catalogue. Assign them to a post type, to individual pages, or as the default for the whole site.
  7. Version 1.1.0

    30.06.2026

Edit the code behind any section — a built-in code editor, right inside the builder, so you can fine-tune anything the AI generates.

    • Open & edit the source — adjust the markup, styles, and script of any section without leaving WordPress.
    • Live preview while you edit — CSS changes show in the preview instantly, with no page reload.
    • Full-screen split view — code on the left, the live block preview on the right, with a draggable divider.
    • Inspect on hover — point at any element to see its tag, classes, size, color, and font.
    • Smart autocomplete — WordPress and plugin helper functions complete as you type.
    • Save your way — keep the original as a new version, or overwrite the current one.
  8. Version 1.0.5

    12.05.2026

Reliability and polish — faster generation, steadier previews, and a cleaner editing flow across the board.

  9. Version 1.0.0

    01.04.2026
