10Web AI Website Builder vs Fabrement
10Web’s AI website builder and Fabrement both build WordPress sites with AI, so they get compared. They are built on opposite ideas: 10Web brings its own AI agents and its own hosting, Fabrement lets your own AI agent work on the WordPress site you host wherever you like.
The short answer
10Web is a hosted platform. Its team of AI agents builds the site from a brief or a Figma file, and you keep editing it through their chat or their page builder, which is based on Elementor. 10Web’s AI website builder works only on 10Web’s own hosting, but you can still move your AI-built WordPress site to another host.
Fabrement is a free plugin. It turns any WordPress 6.9 site into an MCP server, so the AI agent you already use (ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor) builds native Gutenberg blocks, templates, post types and fields on your own host, on one design system. You keep your host, use the AI you already pay for, and hand the site to a team that can edit it in the block editor or in plain language in an AI chat, over the MCP connection. We recommend the latter.
Key takeaways
- A platform or a plugin. 10Web’s builder works on 10Web hosting. Fabrement runs on any host with WordPress 6.9, PHP 8.0 and HTTPS.
- Whose AI does the work. 10Web uses its own agents with monthly AI credits. Fabrement connects your own AI client over MCP, with no credits and no per-action charge.
- What you get. 10Web generates a WordPress site with its own theme, which you customise in its editor based on Elementor. Fabrement builds a custom WordPress theme from native Gutenberg blocks with editor fields, each change saved as a version you can restore.
- Where each is ahead. 10Web has ecommerce, white label and an all-in-one setup today. Fabrement has custom post types, custom fields and options pages, and multilingual sites on WPML.
- Price. 10Web starts at $10 a month including hosting. The Fabrement plugin is free; you pay your host and your own AI plan.

Side by side
How to read the table: Yes is a stated feature. Partly, not the main workflow means it is possible, but not what the product is built for. No means the product does not offer it.

Who each one suits. 10Web suits people who want domain, hosting and site in one account and prefer an Elementor-style page builder. Fabrement suits people who are used to custom WordPress themes and Gutenberg blocks, and anyone who wants to keep their host and run the site by asking the AI they already pay for.
Can you use both?
Not on the same site at the same time: 10Web’s builder runs on 10Web hosting. You can take the site with you, because it is standard WordPress. 10Web’s help centre does warn that a site made with its AI builder may not work correctly on another host, so test a copy there first. Once it runs, it can be built on further with Fabrement and your own agent. More on how that works is on how Fabrement builds a WordPress site.
Frequently asked questions
Is Fabrement a 10Web alternative?
For some people, yes. Both build WordPress sites with AI, but in different ways. 10Web is a hosted platform: its own agents build the site on its own hosting, paid by subscription with monthly AI credits. Fabrement is a free plugin for any WordPress site: your own AI agent (ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor) builds native Gutenberg blocks on the host you already use. 10Web suits people who want domain, hosting and site in one account and prefer an Elementor-style page builder. Fabrement suits people who are used to custom WordPress themes and Gutenberg blocks, and who want to keep their host and the AI they already pay for.
Can I move a 10Web site and keep building it with Fabrement?
Yes. A site built with 10Web is standard WordPress, so you can move it to another host. 10Web’s help centre does warn that a site made with its AI builder may not work correctly on another host, so test a copy there first. Once it runs on WordPress 6.9 or newer with PHP 8.0 and HTTPS, install Fabrement and connect your agent. The pages you already have stay as they are, and new sections are built as Fabrement blocks on your design system. Rebuilding existing pages is your choice, not a requirement.
Which costs less, 10Web or Fabrement?
It depends on what you already pay for. 10Web starts at $10 a month for one site on a 12-month plan, with hosting and 100 AI credits a month included. The Fabrement plugin is free, but you pay your own host and your own AI plan, such as ChatGPT or Claude. If you have neither, 10Web can be cheaper to start. If you already have hosting and an AI subscription, Fabrement adds nothing to the bill, and there are no credits to run out of.
